Martin has a degree in project management from Reykjavík University and considerable experience with organising events. His passion is in bridging these two worlds, art and organisation, into something beautiful and powerful. His masters thesis was titled “Managing creative projects - lessons from dance, theatre, film and fashion.”

He worked for roughly two years as marketing and ticket manager for Tjarnarbíó theatre in Iceland. He has managed two TEDxReykjavík events, edited a book and participated in organising other events such as Secret Solstice, Sónar Reykjavík and You Are In Control.
